The lantern festival also called yuanxiao festival in China. it fallson the 15th day of the 1st lunar month which is on 28th Feburary this year.
The tradition is to eat yuanxiao and solve puzzles on the lantern. The yuanxiao made of glutinous rice ball, which has different fillings in side. The fillings could be sesame, osmanthus flowers,etc.
My colleagues cooked some in rice cooker, I had some, it taste nice and then went to bed, then that’s my lantern festival.
